ScribeSense Payment Policy
By accessing or using this website ("Website") provided by ScribeSense, Inc. ("Company", "we" or "us") you agree to the terms of this payment policy ("Payment Policy"), as described below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use this website.
This Payment Policy describes the policies that apply to the purchase of (i) an introductory trial offer, such as a discounted or free trial (“Trial Plan”); (ii) premium offer including ScribeSense Teacher Plans ("Teacher Plans"); and ScribeSense Credits ("Credits").
Company currently offers Teacher Plans with subscription available on an annual basis. Teacher Plans are RECURRING NON-TRANSFERABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR PERSONAL USE WITH NO CONTRACT INVOLVED. Each purchase or renewal of Teacher Plan gives you access to certain functionality of Website for a limited period of time (for example, 365 days for annual plans).
Company also offers an introductory Trial Plan with a certain set of usage and feature limitations, which set can be changed at any time at the sole discretion of the Company. Teacher Plan can be initiated at any point during or after Trial Plan, or directly without Trial Plan preceding it.
You agree and hereby acknowledge that Trial Plan is offered for each user once per lifetime, and has a limited duration. You further agree and acknowledge that each Teacher Plan is provided strictly for processing of ongoing work of the individuals explicitly assigned to the plan, and using data pertaining to other individual teachers, or your own archived data with your Teacher Plan subscription without written Company’s approval is considered to be a violation of Payment Policy and Terms of Service.

By purchasing a Teacher Plan, you authorize Company to charge associated subscription fee at the start data of every subscription or renewal period. To terminate plan renewal, you need to send a notice to email@example.com at least 30 days before the renewal date. For annual plans, renewal date will be the end date of an initial subscription period. Annual plans end on the day of 1-year anniversary of plan start, unless otherwise explicitly indicated by the Company in writing. Subscription fees for plan renewals will be charged at the beginning of each renewal period.
Company accepts credit and debit cards as a means of payment. In special situations, we do accept Western Union, wire transfers, or personal checks. We may also accept payments through our partner organizations, such as DonorsChoose.
You are responsible for maintaining a current payment method to continue to access Teacher Plan. You acknowledge that if we are unable to charge your payment method, your access to Teacher Plan may be terminated.
If you fund a payment by debit card and your transaction results in an overdraft or other fee from your bank, you alone are responsible for that fee.
After your membership plan expires, you will have a grace period of 30 days (“Grace Period”) to retain limited access to your account, with ability to view and export your data. After Grace Period ends, the company may at its sole discretion close the account and permanently delete your data. If a new plan subscription or renewal of existing plan is initiated within Grace Period, your data will be retained for the duration of the new or renewed subscription plan.
The Company may offer you Credits valid for purchases on the Website. Credits cannot be transferred to a third party, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are non-refundable except where required by law. Credits are redeemable for purchases on Website, as determined by the sole discretion of the Company. Company reserves the right to change the price and value of Credits or to suspend or modify Credits program at any time.
Company reserves the right to change Payment Policy and subscription plans from time to time at its sole discretion with or without notice. Any revisions are effective immediately once posted on Website. Your continued use of Website shall indicate your acceptance of the revision. Company maintains up-to-date list of subscription plans and their features and functionalities on its website.
You may terminate your subscription at any time by sending a cancellation request to firstname.lastname@example.org on at least 5-day notice. In case of termination on a date indicated in the cancellation request (“Termination Date”): (i) you will get a full refund if Termination Date is within 10 calendar days of start of the subscription, and (ii) your purchase will be non-refundable if termination date is more than 10 calendar days later than the date of start of the subscription
Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue your access to Website with or without notice. Company shall not be liable to you or any third party should Company exercise its right to modify or discontinue your access to Website. In case of a subscription cancellation, Company will follow its standard refund policies.
